There are two options to get to RioMonte-Puelo Alto:
Option 1
From Puerto Montt
Through Puerto Varas
Ensenada 
Cochamó and taking the route until El Canelo
Then cross the Tagua-Tagua Lake
By Ferry for 40 minutes to Punta Maldonado
From this point a 45 km journey to RioMonte-Puelo Alto, in front of Puerto Urrutia 
By a well mantained road and passable all year round with all kinds of vehicles. Puerto Urrutia is located 15 minutes past Llanada Grande, the main town of the Puelo Alto River basin, which has all the basic supply services and an excellent aerodromeOption 2
From Puerto Montt along the road to “Carretera Austral”, passing through Punta Pelluco, Quillaipe and Lenca to Caleta La Arena
Crossing the Reloncaví Estuary on Ferry for 25 minutes to Caleta Puelchee
And from there continue until El Canelo Performing the rest of the trip in the same way as Option 1
